Hôtel Jardin Croisette

★ ★ ★
7 rue Molière, Cannes

A three-star with 18 rooms and a garden, 200 metres from the Croisette and the beaches. No sea view, no pool: the location on foot, for anyone who treats the hotel as a base. A sourced entry, with what we'd check before booking.

What the official sources say

The Hôtel Jardin Croisette is a three-star in the centre, at 7 rue Molière, about 200 metres from the Croisette according to the hotel. Its website also shows a second address, 112 rue d'Antibes: ask which one is the entrance. The Cannes tourist office, in a listing updated in August 2026, counts 18 rooms: 4 Classic, 12 Superior, 1 at garden level and 1 adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

The official website gives 14 m² for the Classic room and 16 m² for the Superiors, one version of which has a balcony. All are air-conditioned and soundproofed, with a fridge and free wifi. The garden, which the hotel calls tropical, runs on to a terrace where breakfast is served; the tourist office puts it at €14 per person, from 7am to 10am. There is a lift, pets are accepted according to the same listing, and the hotel is given as open all year in 2026.

Our view: a base, not a destination

We have not slept there: this is a sourced notebook entry, not an account of a stay. Our reading: this is a base hotel. You are not paying for a sea view, a pool or palace service: you are paying for 200 metres. For a long weekend spent mostly outdoors, it is the trade-off we would make, provided you take a Superior: 14 m² for two with suitcases is tight.

If you want a hotel to spend the afternoon in, this is not the one. Look at the Five Seas instead, also in the centre: a different scale, a different budget.

Here you are not buying a view: you are buying 200 metres.

What we'd skip

Arriving by car without having booked the space. According to the tourist office, the hotel has two spaces in the Le Florian car park, 100 metres away, at €25 a night. Two spaces for 18 rooms.

Arriving late without warning. The website shows reception hours in two blocks (7am-11.30am and 3.30pm-7.30pm), with a notice of 24-hour opening for the summer season: out of season, tell them when you will arrive.

Expecting a pool or a sea view. The official sources mention neither.

What we'd check before booking

Rates are not shown on the website: the hotel promises the best price direct, and we would still compare it on our dates. We would ask for a room on the garden rather than the street, the bed layout (the supplement for two separate beds is €15 according to the tourist office), and whether the restaurant the website places in the garden is open on our dates. The website shows a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 139 Google reviews: a good score, on a small volume. Reception answers on +33 4 22 32 88 88. We will add our verified notes after a visit.
